JFH Educational Academy

Kindergarten

This program is especially designed to enable your child to make a smooth and enjoyable transition into first grade. Children are grouped according to ability and are allowed to progress at an individual rate. We use the Baratta/Lorton Reading Program and “Math Their Way” hands-on learning programs to assure the best school beginnings. The small teacher/student ratio (1:20 maximum) assures your child the individualized attention he or she requires. Your child’s Kindergarten year culminates with a graduation ceremony befitting their important achievement.

Primary Grades

We offer an accelerated educational curriculum using a small (1:20) teacher to student ratio and individualized learning. The program includes mastery introduction in reading, mathematics, social studies, science, literature, language arts, music, art, computer technology and physical education. Our longer academic year (185 days per year versus 176 days at most schools) provides your child with an extra opportunity to learn and achieve academic excellence.

Before and After School and Holiday Vacation Play Club

Your school age child will love this Prospect Heights program designed to reinforce a safe and constructive environment. Activities include art, music and sports in our large gymnasium. Children will also have time for study hall and field trips. Transportation is provided for neighboring school districts.
